Hi I'm Christopher johnson

I grew up in Oregon. I love the outdoors and my favorite activity is camping. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors and my favorite outdoor activity is camping. I love Reptiles and I want to work with them someday. My favorite hobby is going outside and I like video and computer games. I also really like dinosaurs and I am a mormon and proud of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon and I believe in the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ and I believe that my life has been blessed by following it. I was raised as a Mormon and I have no doubts that what I believe is true.

How I live my faith

I try live the commandments as best as I can and do what I am supposed to do.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

Christopher johnson
No, the church of Jesus Christ is for anyone who is willing to come to the gospel or those who simply want to investigate. You all are welcome in the church no mater who you are or where you come from. If you ever feel that you can't go because of your color, you are mistaken and if anyone ever makes you feel like that intentionally then they aren't following the spirit. So don't be afraid to come join us. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Christopher johnson
No not at all in fact we don't have to at all if we don't want to. We do it because we believe it is commanded of the lord and that we also want to share it with the rest of the world. I get full happiness and peace from the gospel and I simply want to share that peace and happiness with the rest of the world that I get from it. Show more Show less

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

Christopher johnson
That is misunderstood, as it says even in the bible God is a god of order, so think about it, if that was the order of christ's church back then why would he deviate from that same order in these days? The apostles were meant to teach christ's word and to oversee the church, so why would that not be needed in the church today as well as back then, the only difference between the worlds situation now is that the temptings have changed, cause the same kind of people are here as back then. This makes it even more needed to have apostles and prophets to help guide the church in this age of new problems. Show more Show less
