Hi I'm Kyle

I was raised on a farm in the Oregon countryside. I am the youngest of six children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I loved playing and watching sports from a young age. I enjoy learning about other cultures and lifestyles. I enjoy listening to all kinds of music and enjoy singing. I enrolled in an Idaho college in Fall of 2012. I will be studying Health Science to prepare myself for a career in the field of medicine.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so thankful to have been raised in the Lord's church. The gospel has been such a blessing in my life. It has brought great joy to my life and the lives of others. Through the teachings of the gospel, I know that God lives. I know that I am God's son and He loves me; He loves all of His children. I know that He sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to suffer and die for us. Through repentance and Christ's sacrifice we can be forgiven of our sins and return to our Father after this mortal life. I know that prophets are God's way of communicating to His children. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, called of God. I know that he translated the plates of old into the Book of Mormon and the other doctrine that we have today. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. It is a map for us to read and study, which will lead us back to our Father and eternal happiness. I know that Thomas S. Monson is God's prophet in these days. I have faith that His guidance comes directly from God. Through the gospel, I have a knowledge of God's plan of happiness. I know where i existed before this life, my purpose on this earth, and what is to come after my death. I have great faith in the plan of happiness and the other teachings of the gospel. I know that if we strive to live as Christ did we will be blessed exceedingly. I choose to continue in the church because I am aware of the blessings and joy that come from this gospel. I know that it leads to eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

Throughout the past I have been called to be a leader over groups of young men in my ward. One of my duties in these callings was to be a friend to those in need. As a leader, I had the opportunity to visit with each young man regularly. I noticed significant changes in many of them. I am grateful for the chance that I had to be a witness of the miracles and blessings that the gospel brought to their lives.
