Hi I'm Andy

Music + bacon + mormonism = true happiness. I'm a mormon and I love it.

About Me

I absolutely love soccer, as well as any other sports or outdoor activities. With many years of piano and violin instruction, I have developed a deep passion for music and it is my life goal to learn every instrument I can before I die. I thrive in school because learning is endless, and I find great joy in gaining more knowledge of culture, science, and literature. I have a strong desire to explore the world, and I hope someday I will have the opportunity (and the money) to travel and experience other cultures. And it would be nice to have a cool husband to travel with. My greatest passions, however, are my family and my deep love for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the gospel I have learned how to find love and hope in a chaotic world, as well as build lasting relationships with my loving parents and siblings. As a whole, I feel no greater joy than from serving my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel brings a message of hope, joy, and guidance. It enables me to have a personal relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and through that relationship I have been able to receive great strength and peace throughout my life. One of my favorite things about this church is that it encourages asking questions and expressing concerns. We are not a church that believes in riding on the beliefs of others - the prophet and apostles exhort every member to develop their own knowledge of the truth. Even I, having been born and raised in the church, have had to find out the truth for myself. I am grateful to be part of a religion that believes in the ability to receive personal guidance and direction from God. It is absolutely beautiful, and something that has been a foundation for my entire life.

How I live my faith

Right now I am currently living my faith by serving a volunteer mission. My only desire is to share this knowledge with others because I want to give them the opportunity to feel the joy I feel. I participate in daily prayer and scripture study, and through these I find faith and strength to accomplish whatever the Lord asks of me.
