Hi I'm Sister Susan Iketau

I'm Tongan. I'm a Sister Missionary. I love to make people laugh and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Susan but i go by alot of different names..my mom calls me Sue, my dad calls me Susana, my sisters call me BOSS but right now i go by SISTER IKETAU. I am 20 years old & I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am currently serving in the BEST mission in the world the Georgia Atlanta North Mission. Georgia is where its at! No doubt about that! Its hot & humid here and i sure do enjoy when the A/C temprature is at 68! I was affected by the announcement that was made in October general conference about the age change for missionaries. I turned 19 about three weeks after they had made the announcement. It was an very emotional time for me but i knew that i was ready to serve. I love to play every sport out there, if i don't know how to play it ill learn how. I am very athletic and i love being active. I love to sing and dance with my sisters and we love to joke around. I guess you can say that i love to see people smile! I love being a missionary! This gospel makes me smile so much! That is alot of the reason why I love that this page and how it helps others learn more about the gospel and how it makes each and every one of us happy. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was actually born and raised in the church. Growing up i just knew that every Sunday we had to go too church, we always read our scriptures, and we always had family home evening on Monday. It is just how things were, but as I got older a lot of things that my parents had taught me when i was younger started to make sense, all of the commandments like keeping the word of wisdom, living the law of chastity, keeping the sabbath day holy, etc. all of those temptations starting coming at me once i hit high school, but i'm glad that my parents taught me while i was young all the things pertaining to the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love being a member of this gospel. It truly does make me happy, that i know that i will see my family even after death, into the eternities, and with that I just want to end this with my testimony that i want to testify that i do know without a doubt in my mind that this church is true, i know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and that he restored the true and living gospel to this earth today. I know that through the atonement of our lord and savior Jesus Christ we can all be comforted, repent and return to live with our Father in Heaven again. I know that Families can be together forever. I know that the Book of Mormon is truly the word of god and if we live and strive too keep the commandments we can all obtain eternal life with our eternal families. I know that with faith anything is possible. I testify that these things are true, in the name of our lord and savior, even Jesus Christ , Amen.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission. This mission has been such a great experience for me so far! It is such a wonderful opportunity to be able to meet new people every single day and share the restored gospel. Lately i've learned to just put all of my trust in the lord. As a missionary we strive to share the gospel with everyone that we come in contact with, we strive to be examples every where we go. We represent our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we wear his name on our chest every single day. Im so grateful for the gospel in my life and the peace that i get from it. Im grateful that i have trials and that im able to seek the good out of those trials, and learn from them. Im extremely grateful for the opportunity that i have to be here on my mission to preach the gospel to those who are truly searching for truth. That is how i am living my faith.
