Hi I'm Tyson

I have moved over 20 times in 20 years, I am serving a mission in the Canada Halifax Mission, and I'm a mormon!

About Me

I have moved around the country for most of my life. I have lived in California, Utah, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Even though schools changed and so did the people, the one thing that never changed was the gospel. No matter where I was, the message was the same and the spirit was felt. I just finished my second semester at UVU and am really excited to serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for the simple fact that I personally know that it is true. While I lived in Tennesse I was able to go to other churches and see what they had in store for me. My friends would talk to me about their churches, and tell me that there church was better then my own. Once I attended these congregations I realized that I didn't feel the same as I did when I attended my own meetings. I also learned of the unconditional love that our savior, Jesus Christ has for us. He has provided us a way for us to return to him. This is through his atonment. I have used his atonment in my life and am eternally grateful for the sacrafice that he gave so that I may live eternally with my Heavenly Father. I know with out a shadow of a doubt that this church does nothing but good, and I know that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I have served my ward in several different ways over the years. I have been a leader for my fellow 12, 14, and 16 year old priesthood holders. I have even participated in the organization of my student wards family home evening program. I was responsible for assigning lessons, activities, and treats. This was a difficult calling, but was very rewarding and I learned a lot.
