Hi I'm Larry Kuka

I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints after I read, studied and prayed about the Book of Mormon.

About Me

I own a small publishing business. I also buy and sell real estate, and am a part time law enforcement officer and farmer. I am married with four grown sons and two grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

Repentance is followed by conversion. The gospel of Jesus Christ is found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I want to follow in the footsteps of the Savior. I am grateful that I have found the truth and I will try to live my life so I can face my Savior on judgement day without guilt.

How I live my faith

Of utmost importance is my relationship with God. I believe Jesus's teaching to love the Lord thy God will all thy heart, might and strength. Because of that I attend church each week and serve in the church. My greatest responsibility is my family, so I spend my non-working time with my wife and also my children and grandchildren as often as possible. I try to deal honestly with others, set a good example and do things to help others (Jesus's second great commandment). That is why I visit other members, am active in community affairs and write about Christ and His atonement in my publications, letters, journal, etc.

What is the First Vision?

Larry Kuka
I know that Joseph's first vision was real. I have a testimony of it. When I first heard of it, I knew it was true. The Holy Ghost bore witness of it. Show more Show less
