Hi I'm Savannah

I have a passion for the arts. I work as a dance teacher. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending a University as a Sophomore. I love the challenge of school and learning something new every day. I am always up for an adventure. I hope to travel the world and make new friends every where I go. I am fascinated by the universe and world we live in. I love to dance! I have danced almost my entire life and wouldn't have it any other way. The rush and excitement I experience onstage is incredible. I have been working as a dance teacher for 5 years and feel blessed to have such a wonderful job. Teaching young girls is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. I hope they are learning from me because I know I learn something new from them everyday. I have recently acquired a love of photography and videography. You never catch me without a camera in hand. I have a passion for music. It is the quickest way to my heart. It is easy for me to get lost in good music. I grew up playing piano and singing every where I went. I love to laugh and spend time with friends. My family means everything to me and I wound't be where I am without them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is the one true Church on the earth today. I know this Gospel brings happiness and peace. This gospel has the power to pull anyone out of darkness and despair. I have experienced the joy this gospel can lead you to. I know this is Jesus Christs church restored to the earth today by His prophet Joesph Smith. I know Jesus Christ suffered for me and is waiting with open arms for me to repent and turn to Him. I know I have a Heavenly Father that loves and knows me. I know through this gospel and the Lords Plan of Happiness families can be together forever. This Gospel has the answers to the souls questions. I know I am a daughter of God and will return to Him when this life is over. I know through the atonement we can all be forgiven of our sins. I know the priesthood and correct authority has been restored to the earth. Through the priesthood saving ordinances are performed under the correct authority. I know we have a prophet on the earth today, Thomas S. Monson, and he is leading the church how the Lord sees fit. I know the Holy Ghost, that I received after being baptized, helps lead and guide me to choose the right. I love this gospel and I love the Lord. I know that this gospel is the one true way to find happiness and peace in this life.

How I live my faith

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I have had many wonderful experiences. While in Jr. High and High School the Church always provided meaningful activities and opportunities to make new friends. At least once a week we would gather together as a youth group and develop new talents, listen to lessons, visit members of the ward and enjoy each others company. During these years I had the opportunity to serve in leadership positions. I learned valuable lessons on how to serve others, plan meaningful activities and be an example. I loved these experiences and made some of my best friends through the ward. Now that I am older I am attending a Singles Ward. I attend with mostly college students. I have had the opportunity to serve in many capacities. I served as a Ward Choir President for several months. Each week members that had a desire to sing, perform or even just meet new people would gather together and practice beautiful arrangements of Hymns. Every month the choir would then perform one of several songs they had practiced. I have also served in a leadership position for the Women in my ward. I helped plan monthly activities, visited with the women and taught in church. I was able to develop a deep love for the women in ward through this calling.
