Hi I'm kaden Michael Garrett

I was born and raised in Cedar City Utah, I am the third child of five. I love to play basketball and football.

About Me

I was born born and raised in southern Utah. I attended Cedar High school home of the redmen. I played football in the fall, basketball in the winter and track in the spring. My favorite sport was basketball. I love hanging out with my friends and going lazer tagging, I also love playing sports just for fun, not in a serious setting. I enjoy hunting and hanging out with all my uncles during the hunt. My favorite movies are the lord of the rings trilogy and the batman trilogy. I am currently attending Southern Utah University. This is my first semester and i have enjoyed it greatly. I would like to attend another university when I get home from my mission. After my mission I would like to major in biology and get married and become a dentist one day.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to follow this gospel because it makes me happy. It gives me a sense of belonging. I know that if I choose to follow the commandments that god has given us, I can have happiness and return to live with him and be happy for all eternity. I know that reading the scriptures can help us maintain are happiness, and help us get through trials in our lives. I know that the words of the prophet are true. That he is a prophet seer and revelator. I know that families can be together forever and share eternal happiness. I know this church is true, there is no way i could ever deny it. And that is why I must share the gospel. to make other people realize that they too can have eternal happiness if they come unto christ.

How I live my faith

I have had several callings in my church. I have been secretary and president of my classes. My most recent calling is ward missionary, Which is teaching members that arent active in your ward boundaries. I have my eagle scout, which is an award you get when completing scouts. The scouting program has been great. You do service, gain friends, learn dedication, hard work and skills that will help you for the rest of your life. I have been hometeaching several times. My companion has been my dad. its a good thing to home teach. It can help people feel more accepted and loved. All of these things that i have been apart of will definitely help me in the mission field bringing people unto christ.
