Hi I'm Dani

I grew up in Wyoming. I love to laugh and be happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I finished my first semester of college. Missionary work has always been something exciting for me. I live where Mormons are few and grew up often being the only member, besides my family, around. I'm the youngest of 7 children and have the coolest nieces and nephews. I like to play sports, paint, eat my mom's cooking, sing, and to fish with my dog.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up as a Mormon. What I was taught in church and at home seemed to make sense, but I decided I needed to know for myself if the church was true or not after a particularly rough day at school. I felt that happiness came from doing what was right and I wasn't happy at all and questioned if being a Mormon was the right thing for me and if I had a testimony. I began to pray before I read my scriptures every night, seeking for answers if the church was really true. Finally, one night I felt comfort and happiness. I realized the church was true and I knew it. From then on telling my friends no and not being able to participate in certain activities didn't bother me, because I knew I had the gospel and in the end I was be the happier person. I know that following in Christ's way is the way to true joy. I know that He wants me to return to Him, where happiness exists.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being happy, because with the gospel I have no reason not to be. I live it by attending church and being uplifted and lifting others up in the Spirit of Christ. By sustaining leaders in the church, saying prayers every morning and night and often times more than that. I live it by studying the sctiptures and gaining more understanding of the gospel. By dressing modestly and keeping my language clean and looking forward to the days that I attend the temple. I live my faith by serving others and sharing the gospel with them.
