Hi I'm Brandon

I work hard, I play hard, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Mountain biking, motorcycling, skiing, swimming, skim boarding, cliff jumping, white water rafting, camping, shooting, paintball... I love them ALL!!! These hobbies are twice as much fun when I get to share them with my family. Me and my Dad do everything together, and I'm looking forward to continuing all of these fun hobbies with my family throughout my life. I love being outside where I can relish in the beauty of God's creations especially with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received a spiritual witness from God telling me that this is the only way to receive the full blessings of Heaven. I am a Mormon because I have come to know through my faith and through my experiences in life that this is the way to true happiness. The joy that comes with the Gospel is unlike anything I've ever experienced or will ever experience. I know this Gospel is true. I know it with every fiber of my being. I cannot and will not ever deny it. Jesus Christ is my Savior, He knows me personally and is there when I need Him. Through the Atonement (when Christ suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane, and died on the cross) I can be forgiven of my sins, and receive comfort in my times of hardship. I know the Bible is the word of God, I also know that The Book of Mormon is the word of God and like the Bible is a testament of Jesus Christ. They are both wonderful scripture and together they compliment and clarify the same Doctrine that both of them teach! I know all of this because I asked God with a sincere heart and real intent if the Book of Mormon is true. I know it, I live it, I love it. If you're looking for happiness and clarity in your life, get a copy of the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm on a Mission in Albuquerque NM, and I love it! I was actually one of the first 18 year old Missionaries in my Mission! When the recent age change announcement happened I was thrilled. At the time I was going to school at Dixie State in St. George Utah. School just didn't feel right for me at the time. As soon as the announcement happened I KNEW where I was supposed to be. I dropped out of school and went on my Mission. I love having the daily opportunities to be a part of people's lives and to help them find the joy of this Gospel for themselves. I've never been happier than right now on my Mission. I've never found more joy than the joy I receive from serving my fellow man, and therefore serving my God. Through High School it can be tough to stick to the standards of the Church, but having those standards, and doing my best to be an example to my peers in school blessed my life so much. I was blessed with great friends who shared my values and helped me be the best person I could be. I was blessed with strength to what I knew was right. I live my faith daily by trying my best to be kind and serve others. Everyone is a son or daughter of God. That means we are all brothers and sisters! There's nothing that brings greater joy than serving one of my brothers or sisters.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

I'm a missionary! So I can definitely answer this one for you. The message we have to share is one of eternal joy and happiness. We share how the Gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed our lives, and we invite you to find out for yourself if it is true! There are certain things that the missionaries will invite you to do, such as reading and praying. This is the way that you will receive a spiritual witness that God does know you and love you, that Jesus Christ is your Savior, and that His Church is once again on the Earth. Through the discussions that you will have with the missionaries they will answer questions like, "where did we come from?" "Why are we here?" and "Where are we going?" The missionaries are there to help answer questions, and show you the way to find out for yourself if what they are teaching is true. As a missionary and representative of Jesus Christ, I testify to you that this Gospel is true, and that it is Jesus Christ's Church. I promise you that if you have a burning desire to know if it is true, then the missionaries can help you find out for yourself. Show more Show less
