Hi I'm Jacob Muller

I grew up in Michigan and I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went to BYU-I shortly after being baptized and am now serving a full time mission in Frankfurt, Germany. I have always wanted to learn the german language since I was little. My grandpa instilled in me a pride of family and tradition and that has and will always stick with me. I have grown up being a huge sport fan. I love my teams. Go Detroit! The city of dreams... Anyway... I always enjoy watching a good game of hockey or football. I play soccer and volleyball but I will play any backyard sport when the chance comes along. I also really like to go Mt. Biking. I like dogs too. They are pretty cool. I have two of them.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in a family where my mother is the only church member of the LDS faith. My father is Roman Catholic and does not believe or support anything to do with the church. At the age of 16 I felt the gospel was true and I confronted my father about going forward and being baptized. He was not well pleased in my desire to become a member and said that I could not but he would allow me to make the choice when I turned 18. Two years passed and I continued to live the standards taught by the church. When I turned 18 I prepared myself to be baptized and a month later I was. My father and my grandfather attended my baptism, to support me. That was a huge step for the both of them and were the only two members of my Catholic family who attended. Since then I have gone a year at Brigham Young University- Idaho, and have been called to serve a full time mission in the Frankfurt, Germany Mission. My father has not necessarily agreed with my choices but has allowed me to go forward with what I think and know to be right. He is happy that I am excited and willing to serve God. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true Church of Jesus Christ. It hasn't been an easy journey for me, going against the desires of the majority of my family but I knew then and I know now, that it was the right thing to do. I love this gospel. It guides me in my daily life, and has been the gateway to so many blessings. Living true to this gospel is worth it.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full time missionary for the Church in Germany.
