Hi I'm Anna

I'm currently serving in the Florida Tallahassee Mission for the Church. I love to ballroom dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In my life I have moved many times, 9 if you don't include going to college. I'm the second of five kids and am close to all of my siblings, although that doesn't mean we've haven't had our disagreements. I love to sew, draw, and especially ballroom dance. I am currently going to college to obtain a degree that will allow me to open my own business, which will either involves clothing design or it will be a ballroom studio, I haven't decided. My life hasn't always been easy or fun, my family has had it's share of financial difficulties, just like everyone else. But we've always come out of it with our love and faith.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church. I don't know that I have ever had a time where I really questioned if it was true, or the correct church, but I know I have had many times in my life that have given me personal proof and built my testimony of the different foundational principles of the gospel and let me know that I am doing what's right. There have been times when prayer has been reinforced, times when I have been allowed to know that the Book of Mormon is true and that there is a prophet on the earth today, and most importantly that Christ is the Savior and that God hears and answers our prayers. I choose to stay and I choose to continue in this faith because I know it is true, and the peace that I receive from it is something that I would not give up for anything. It is something that I cannot deny and that has and will continue to provide me with what I need to know and do to maintain that peace and love. I know the church is true and that there is nothing else in this world that could provide me with what this faith does. It is impossible to put into words and explain how I know and feel that this faith provides me with every necessity, and that it is only through the truth of Christ and God being involved and concerned about me that, that could be true.

How I live my faith

I love this church and the organization of it. I've had several callings throughout my life starting when I was young and one of the youth leaders. I was able to help plan activities, with the help of the adult leaders that would benefit us in some way, and that we found fun. I've also been able to arrange different get-to-know-you activities through other callings. But the most meaningful and helpful thing for me has been the service projects that I have done in connection with the church, and on my own. These projects gave me the chance to get to know people that I wouldn't have otherwise, as well as to gain and practice skills that I now use on a regular basis. Getting to work with and for people I care about is the greatest opportunity.
