Hi I'm Roslyn

I grew up all over Canada and currently reside in Calgary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert to the Church and a mother. My favourite sport is hockey.... I love to travel and enjoy spending time with my friends and family. Service is very important to me and I do my very best to be there for others...

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because one day I was invited to an open house event by a neighbour. It was the best opportunity ever and although I had no idea what was ahead of me I knew that I wanted to learn more. So I filled out a request form to have the missionaries come visit me. I met with them on several occassions and was baptised soonafter. This was the long awaited fullfillment that I had been searching for all my life. I knew there had to be more and I was able to understand and find the place for me. Many years have passed and I have raised my daughter with the Gospel in our lives and I am so grateful for the missionaries. I have a great testimony of missionary work and I know the difference that the Gospel can make in a life. I cannot imagine my life not being a Mormon, I am happy to have the knowledge and the love that I have experienced and the unconditional love of Heavenly Father and the Saviour.

How I live my faith

I am on a committee where along with other women we organize monthly activities. We have a lot of fun getting to know one another at these activities. Along with the social aspect we also experience a spiritual bond for our love of the Gospel. I have the privilege of driving 2 wonderful ladies to and from Church every Sunday. Through service we have become great friends and it strengthens my faith so very much. Every day I strive to be an example to others, it means so much to me to treat others how I would like to be treated. It just feels wonderful to have a positive attitude about life and also see this in others.
