Hi I'm Chase

I amd from Alaska and love running, traveling, soccer, and being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 and a student at Brigham Young University. I love running, soccer, and just about everything outdoors. When I am indoors you will find me playing my guitar or ukulele. I am currently serving a mission in Baton Rouge, Louisiana while I wait for my visa to serve a mission in Manaus Brazil! I have had the chance to live all over the world, and no matter where you are or what language you speak, this church is true and can bring happiness everyone!

Why I am a Mormon

My family has always been members of the church, but I have been able to see how it has changed my life. As I have grown older, my religion has become a more integral part of my life. It has given me strength in times of need, and it has helped me set goals and priorities that will help me to live a good life. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He and my Heavenly Father love me and know who I am. I know that I have a purpose and that my family and I can return to live with my Heavenly Father forever. I am very thankful for the Savior's love in my life and for his sacrifice for me, and I hope that everybody can feel the same great feeling that I have.

How I live my faith

Within my church, I have had various opportunities to be a leader for other young men. I also have worked as a secretary for the bishop. In my community I enjoy volunteering for various organizations. My favorite was a program called Gym Kids where I had the opportunity to go and play with children with special needs twice a week. I am currently serving a mission and am coming to understand what it means to truly live your faith. I encounter people every day who are struggling in some way, and what I have learned is that through my talents and faith, I can always provide some help for them. There is no greater feeling in the world than knowing that you have helped touch another person's life. I choose to live my faith be being an example of Christ to all those that I meet.
