Hi I'm Amber

I am the youngest child of six and I love my family. I am also a college student with big plans. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a neighbor, a friend, a student, and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love to read and experience new people and cultures. I love to hike, camp, and be outdoors. I love spending time with family and friends, and I also love to laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to grow up in a home where the values and beliefs of this church were taught and enriched. I was able to hear my parents pray for me as a child, and that is a beautiful gift that I cherish. They also read the Book of Mormon and Bible with us as a family and taught us from those inspired books. I am a Mormon because I have experienced the joy and happiness that comes from living this gospel. I know that Jesus Christ lives and loves each one of us and that as it says in the Book of Mormon in Ether chapter 12 verse 6, that you will "receive no witness until after the trial of your faith." I have lived and tried this way of life and I know it is true by the love, peace and joy I feel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying for, visiting, and loving those with whom I associate. This can be my family, my friends, co-workers, or anyone. I try to help them in any way I can. I have helped organize activities for youth to strengthen them and give them hope. I have gone to other countries and helped in schools, communities, and homes. I have learned that the best part about serving other people is that it usually helps me more than those I serve. It helps me realize that this life is bigger than the individual, and that God loves everyone equally.
