Hi I'm Erin

I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am studying to be a museum curator. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have spent the past few years going to college. I am studying Art History, and I absolutely love it! I love learning about fashion and design. I like to watch movies and especially love International Cinema. Learning about other cultures excite me. I am apart of a club promoting international development. One day I hope to be able to help other people and give humanitarian aid. I am currently studying Korean and I think it is awesome! However, I will be going to Japan in a couple of months to serve a mission. Hopefully, someday, I will be able to speak 4 languages!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and I have always had the gospel. I have never doubted the truth of the gospel. Throughout my life I have been blessed to have moments that have reassured and strengthened me in my faith. I have often felt alone and sad, but then I have remembered my Heavenly Father and how he will never leave my side. He has helped me get past every trial in my life and I know he will continue to do so. There have been a few experiences in my life where I have read a scripture from the Book of Mormon that has left a burning inside of me confirming that this church is true. I have also had the Holy Ghost guiding me. The Holy Ghost has helped me feel calm and at peace when I have been anxious. The Church has directed me and helped me stay on path so that I could accomplish many things I wanted. The Commandments and Word of Wisdom have also been there to make sure I didn't have any problems and that I could have a clear mind and be happy. I am grateful for all the wonderful things the gospel has brought into my life. I am a member of this church because I know with a surety that the gospel is true. I want to have the spirit with me always and I want to do the things my Heavenly Father asks of me because I love him. This is why I have chosen to be a member of His church.

How I live my faith

I love participating in my community and church. I loved visiting teaching because I had the opportunity to get to know people in my ward that I sometimes wouldn't normally get to meet. I learned how to befriend and care for others. I was also able to spend time teaching in class and I learned that I really enjoy teaching. In the church I was able to participate in many charity events. I have been able to serve many people and have learned to care about others more. I love helping out others. I feel happier when I am able to share my joy and time with others in need.
