Hi I'm Carissa

I am going to school to be a physical therapist. I love helping those in need. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing sports, the outdoors ,and serving others. I am a junior in college, and I am currently preparing to serve a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love spending time with my family and friends, and I love a good laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because the church is true. My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ atoned for my sins. He loves me so much that he was willing to die for me. My parents are converts to the church. They raised me in the church and I became a member when I was 8 years old. I rebelled in my teenage years and fell away from the church for awhile. During that time I did everything that I thought would make me happy and life worth living, but no matter what I did or bought the happiness wasn't there. Something was missing and I couldn't fill the empty void in my life where the gospel had once been. I found my way back to the church and almost immediately that void and empty feeling was replaced by a wonderful feeling of peace and joy. My life has meaning and purpose with this wonderful gospel in my life. I find joy and happiness in every situation. I have hope.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. I am preparing for a mission and I help those in my community by visiting those in need on a weekly basis.
