Hi I'm Jerikah

I believe in Kundalini Yoga & Meditation, herbal tea, organic plant eating, natural light, Vermont, and my Savior. #I'maMormon!

About Me

What up?! I love hiking, snowboarding, golfing, boating, camping, running and working out. Anything outdoors! There is power in nature and I feel the closest to my Father in Heaven when I am out enjoying His creations and communing with them. I go to BYU-Idaho and absolutely love it there! My dream is to heal souls for a living. :) I am currently serving in the New Hampshire Manchester Mission. Sat nam.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me great joy in my life! When I live my life in accordance to the teachings of Jesus Christ I know that I am doing what is right, and when we do what is right, God blesses us. Let's face it, God can give us some wonderful blessings if we follow the commandments, and who wouldn't want glorious blessings from on high?! I know that I am a daughter of God. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and restored God's church in its fullness on the earth today. I know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ can take away any pain; whether from sin, or inflicted by others, Christ suffered so that we don't have to. I know that the Scriptures are the word of God. I know that prayer is a divine gift in which we can communicate with our Father in Heaven. And I know, by the power of the Holy Ghost, that this is the true church.

How I live my faith

I strive to live true to my divine potential and character. In no way am I close to perfection, but I stay true to who I am. I am real. And that is perfect for me. I'm not a cookie-cutter Mormon and I have come to accept that and love it. I have ideas and theories on life and spirituality that others think are crazy, but I know they are true and from God. "If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things." (Article of Faith #13) I believe in embracing the good from every culture and applying it to my life.
