Hi I'm Tiffany Ross

I'm twenty years old. I working to be an Elementary School teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My senior year i started working at my high school as a custodian, hoping to save some money for college. I wanted to pay for college on my own. I knew that my parents wouldn't have the money to pay for it, and college would mean more to me, if i payed for it.So after working hard during the summer, I was able to start college the fall after high school. I was going to a small two year college in Utah. I knew from the beginning that i wanted to be a teacher and this was a small step in the right direction. I was able to work at a middle school near the college, tutoring students in math and reading, which i loved. And graduated with my Associate of Science degree. After graduation i knew i wasn't going to have enough money to go to the university my friends, were going to. I had prayed to know where to go to continue my education. Whether I should take out some student loans and go to the university with my friends, or move home and continue my education at the univeristy near my hometown. I wanted to go with my friends but i received the answer to attend the university back home. I was frustrated, and angry with God for giving me that answer, but that's what I did. In October, an announcement was made, lowering the age that sister missionaries could go on missions. I knew immediately that being a missionary was what i was supposed to do. I wouldn't have had the money to go on a mission if i hadn't of moved home and listened to my Heavenly Father. I feel very blessed!

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in this gospel and have seen the AMAZING blessings it has had on my life and my family members lifes. But as a teenager I didn't necessarily believe like my parents did, so I decided to read The Book of Mormon and find out for myself if it was true. I read it not because my parents told me to, or because my church leaders did, but because i wanted to. And after reading this amazing book I know without a doubt in my mind that The Book of Mormon is true! And with the knowledge of the Book of Mormon being true, Joseph Smith did see God the Father and his son Jesus Christ! I Love this gospel with all my heart. I wouldn't have decided to go on a mission if I didn't believe it and love it. I know that God has a purpose for all of his children being here on the earth and that he has set forth a plan for us to return to him. I know that i am a daughter of God and that he loves me and cares about me and answers my prayers. I think that everyone deserves to know thier true worth as a child of God, and the love that he has for them.

How I live my faith

I am currently attending church with my family, and am teaching 5 and 6 year old children every other Sunday about Jesus Christ and his teachings. I love my calling and the children. I feel like I learn so much from them because they know Christ better than anyone I know. I am also preparing to go on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
