Hi I'm Bryan

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm in the US Air Force. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I enjoy spending time with family. My family means the most to me. I enjoy woodworking, fixing things and pretty much anything using my hands is what i like to do. i like to snowboard when i get the chance, also play intramural sports through our military sports programs is what i enjoy doing. my wife and i are expecting our first baby, and we are very excited to become parents. I've worked all kinds of jobs ranging from laying asphalt to working at a golf course i am now very involved in my military career.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up going to the Mormon church with my parents. It's what our family did, we went to church and lived our lives according to the things we learned. We read the scriptures and prayed as a family on and off over the years, but we always went to church. My parents instructed us from a young age on important and correct principles such as faith, honesty, and love. As i grew older and was faced with challenges, many of which are challenges that we all are faced with. One of which was if i wanted to continue on with my belief in God or if i wanted to keep going to church. Before i left it all behind i decided that i had to find out for myself. So i did what i was taught my whole life read the scriptures, ponder it in your mind and listen to your heart, and then pray and ask God to confirm if it is true. As i read and prayed it made sense, it began to be very clear to me that what i was doing all along is exactly what God wanted me to be doing. I had and still have a lot of room to improve and things i need to work on, and applying the principles of the gospel help to overcome those specific challenges. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that He lived and died for us, and that He was resurrected and that He lives. The Book of Mormon and the Bible are true. We have them because God spoke to prophets and they kept records. He still speaks to us today, we have a living loving prophet to day just as they did in past times. i encourage all those in and out of the church to learn for yourselves that these things are true. Come to Christ and live his gospel and his teachings.

How I live my faith

I am involed with the youth of the church (primarily the young men) and enjoy every minute of it. As they learn and grow they teach me so much. I have the priviledge of teaching the young men on sunday in the 3rd hour of our church meetings, i say priviledge because i learn so much from the principles we discuss in our meeting. these young men and the young men across the world carry a great spirit and have set high goals to serve God and live their lives in such a way that defines them as Christians. We have a youth activity during the week, every week. We help the youth plan for and come up with activities that help them mature and grow physically and spiritually. It is a time they can come together in the middle of the week with other youth facing the same trials and challenges and stand on common ground with them and fellowship with them. It truly is a way of life that is very rewarding and helps us in our every day lives.
