Hi I'm Kaylie

I grew up in Farmington, Utah. I love music and I am currently serving in the Carlsbad California mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been playing the violin since I was 5 years old and am planning on being a music education major when I get back from my mission. I love to read in my free time, and my favorite genre is fantasy. I also love to write and am in the process of writing a book myself. I have a twin sister who is currently going to college, and two older brothers, one married with two kids, and the other working.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and had mostly Mormon friends as well. I was baptized at the age of 8. For a while, I struggled to recognize when I was feeling the Spirit, but through reading the scriptures and attending church and the temple, I came to recognize it. Attending the temple really helped me feel the love that Heavenly Father has for me. Through many experiences, I have come to know that the Church is true and the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that Jesus Christ suffered for me and that Heavenly Father loves me and wants the best for me. As a missionary I have come to realize the power of a simple testimony. The promises that our Heavenly Father makes us are real. Each and every one of us has a divine potential, even if we can't see it. I am a missionary because I have come to know these things for myself and there are so many of my brothers and sisters in this world who don't know them. I want to be an instrument in His hands to help people recieve the restored Gospel through faith, repentance, baptism, the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. I invite all to read the Book of Mormon and pray to know the truth.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a representative of Jesus Christ in the California Carlsbad mission. I have the amazing opportunity to share the Gospel in the Spanish language. I go out every day and talk to complete strangers about Jesus Christ so that I can help them grow closer to him. I share my testimony of the Book of Mormon every day to random people I talk to on the street. I share the love that the Lord Jesus Christ has for every one of his children by teaching and serving them.
