Hi I'm Amanda

I am a full time missionary. I love sports and anything with exercising and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports. When I was younger I was in all of them, except for competitive swimming. I enjoy running, it is one of my favorite hobbies. I have pushed myself through school and have graduated with my 2 year degree in only a year and a half. Awhile ago I had decided what I wanted to major in but now my choices are changing and I hope in the next 18 months I will be able to recognize what I want to do in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but at a time in my life I needed to find out for myself if this was truly the church of God. Through diligent study and fervant prayer, I received a personal witness from the Holy Ghost that I was where I needed to be and that I was a Daughter of God and that this gospel, is the gospel of Jesus Christ. That He is the one who is in charge of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He has a prophet who leads and guides the church and has direct communication so that none of us will go astray. We have been given all of the tools and instruments that we need in order to return back to our loving Heavenly Father. I know this to be true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Our Heavenly Father has placed commandments that we have been asked to follow, not only from the prophets in the scriptures but also by a modern day prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. Being a member of the church is a lifestyle and something that we live by and show through our example and our actions.
