Hi I'm Caitlin

I grew up in Albuquerque New Mexico. My favorite food is Hatch green chile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some of my hobbies consist of playing racquet ball, running, and dancing. I love to stay active and play outside. Currently I am attending college and working on my undergraduate. Above anything else I enjoy reading, especially the Book of Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was heavily blessed to be taught as a child about the gospel. When I graduated from High school I went inactive. I spent a year in what seemed like a limbo of uncertainty and chaos. Something was missing in my life; there was a distinct hole that I couldn't ignore. The feelings finally overcame me and I had to make a change. I decided to ask, in humble prayer, for a path back to happiness. I was embarrassed to return back to church but I knew it was exactly what I needed to do. I began reading my scriptures every night and praying more sincerely than ever before. I was trying my best to rekindle the light that slowly faded and left me. After asking for forgiveness and trying to align my will with the lords, I found true joy. My trivial life found a purpose and a direction. I felt like an important part of my Father in Heavens plan and with that knowledge I found hope and comfort. My entire way of existing changed, I truly became a different person. My conversion is never ending and requires consistent obedience and faith. I am so glad that my goals have shifted and that I have been filled with a testimony of the truth. I love the true and living savior Jesus Christ. He has shown me such mercy and patience. I am forever grateful and truly unworthy of such love. I only hope to share this joy with others so His glory will continue to bless the lives of other lost sheep-- like I once was.

How I live my faith

I have a calling as a counselor in the church program established for the sisters. In my calling I have the privilege of administering to and serving the sisters in my branch. The best part about my calling is that I have gained so many great friendships. I truly love all of the wonderful women I have the pleasure of attending church with.

What is the Law of Chastity?

The law of chastity is a way of behaving and feeling about intimacy that provides safety and self-respect. The power of procreation is sacred. Heavenly Father has commanded that sexual relations be reserved for after marriage and only between a legally married man and wife. This law really is a law of great love. Heavenly Father loves his children and wants them to be happy so he has provided a way to safe guard his children from potential pain. Abiding by the law of chastity also builds stronger family ties and allows for greater self-worth. Show more Show less
