Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a music nut, an adventurer, an ice cream addict, and an optimist. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a sophmore in college, studying physical therapy. I believe in doing something every day that scares you; to live life with no regrets. I am constantly laughing, eating, singing, and getting my groove on. I love to be with people and to make others happy. Ingrid Michaelson is my jam and writes the music I wish I could. I will be serving as a missionary in the Washington Kennewick Mission, and can't wait!

Why I am a Mormon

Christ is my best friend. I have often heard that even if I was the only human on earth, He still would have atoned for me because He loves me that much. I have come to know for myself that it is true. He would have done all of that for me, because I can't do it for myself. My Heavenly Father knows that my name is Ashley. He is in the very details of my life and cares about what I hold dear. He has a plan specifically for me, and I know that my life isn't just some random set of events. He wants me to happy. The Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ means everything to me. It brings me joy, comfort, and peace in my life, even when other things are constantly changing. "Now behold, my beloved brethren; this is THE way, and there is no other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now behold, this is THE Doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; which is one God, without end. Amen." - 2 Nephi 31:21

How I live my faith

I live my faith by first loving my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Second, loving my neighbors and all those I come in contact with. I do my best every day to live the life my Heavenly Father would have me lead....to make my life His life, rather than my own. I am happy, grateful, and try to leave others around me better than I found them. I am about to serve a full-time mission to share my knowledge of the truthfulness of the Gospel with those I meet. I will be doing everything I can to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. That is Christ's gospel, and it has changed my life. I want to live in such a way that reflects His, and to share the happiness it brings me with those around me.
