Hi I'm Ashley

I am a Kindergarten aide, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing and dance. I love to teach little kids. It's my passion. I want to be a Kindergarten teacher when I get back from my mission. I love to serve my city. I was a youth ambassador for them and I was given the opportunity to spread the word about Suicide Prevention and Awareness.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. It wasn't until I was about nineteen years old that I really gained my testimony. I had been going through some very hard things with a friend and I was doing things that I knew were against my beliefs. I gained my testimony through the power of the Atonement. Jesus Christ is our Savior. He suffered for our sins so that we could live with our Father in Heaven again. If it weren't for Joseph Smith and his willingness to follow the Savior by giving us the Book of Mormon, I would still be miserable and lonely. Now, I am truly happy. I get to be with my family forever. I believe that this is the most true church. God does love us, He knows us. He wants what is best for us. I am much happier following the commandments and reading my scriptures than anything else could ever make me.

How I live my faith

I was blessed with the opportunity to learn to play the piano and since then I've played the piano in my church for years. It's important to me to go to church every week so that I can learn from other people and develop my talents and skills. I enjoy helping the youth in their service activities and taking them to our Temple. Service is a huge part of who I am as a person, and that is directly related to my parents being LDS. They have taught me that other people come before myself. I am always looking for a way to help someone else.
