Hi I'm Bryan Tautfest

Finding truth is life's greatest quest, and that's why I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a great family who brought me up in the Church. Growing up I didn't realize what the Lord had blessed me with and I took many things for granted. In my teenage years, I decided I knew best and started to live my life very contrary to what the gospel teaches. It led me down a road to a place I never imagined I would end up. I found myself very lonely, depressed, and desperate for help. I remembered my mothers council when I was young to always pray. For the first time in years I knelt down in humility and asked God if he was really there and if he truly did know me. The feeling that overcame me is impossible to explain in words. I couldn't deny that God was there and his incredible love for me. That experience has led me to change my life and now I am serving a 2 year mission for the Lord in London, England. Experiencing what I have, I would never choose the life I once lived. This gospel has given me direction, hope, and a joy that is irreplaceable. I now realize that God doesn't care about what you've done, but who you become. I owe everything I have to my loving Heavenly Father and my older brother, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

This is the only religion that truly makes sense to me. The Book of Mormon has changed my life. It has helped me better understand Gods plan for all of us on this earth and how we can become better individuals. It also has helped me better understand The Bible. All of my questions and concerns have been answered through this gospel and I simply know it's true.

How I live my faith

Right now the easiest answer for this is I am serving a mission. I believe that the best thing I can do on and off a mission is to be an example for others. People notice the small things you do and say!
