Hi I'm Julie.

I am a cosmetologist, a wife, a mother and I am a mormon.

About Me

I have three kids in elementary school aged and I homeschool them. I enjoy many crafts, but I love to learn to build things with wood the most. I try to always learn new things, while staying home with my kids. My kids enjoy watching what I learn and trying new things themselves. I also enjoy working out, reading and shopping.

Why I am a Mormon

All throughout my life, I have had opportunities when I have felt the Spirit. I consider myself lucky that I was born into a Mormon family and had these opportunities. I was taught early on about my Savior and knew that it was true. When going through different trials, I also feel better after reading the scriptures or listening to one of the Latter-Day Prophets. I need the guidance and direction from the Lord in my life. I need his comfort and his strength.

How I live my faith

I think the best way to live my faith is to always be working to be a better you. Each day I try to be a little more understanding, a little more patient, compassionate, etc with my family, friends and neighbors. I'm not always successful, but I always try. Everynight we read the scriptures as a family and we make sure our kids are comprehending what they are reading. We have family prayers and try to have plenty of family time during the week. We use a Christian based homeschooling curriculum that helps reinforce good values and morals and shows how the bible works with ancient history. On Sunday's, I teach a class of seven year olds about their Savior and how they can make good choices in their life.
