Hi I'm Sepa

I'm a missionary! 1 year old Texan and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 5 and the first to serve a mission (I think that's pretty cool). I grew up in Anchorage, AK started high school in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. What a change. I'm Tongan... don't speak the language (unfortunately) but I try. My parents were divorced when I was young, but that hasn't taken away the love that I have for both of them. They have been such great influences in my life, along with my older siblings. I love life! Life loves me! (sometimes) but it's all good. Before my mission, I spent most of my time going to school, with my family, at the beach, on IG, sports, doing hair, watching TV, reading, eating, breathing, sleeping, thinking, taking care of kids (oh the crazy life I have). After High School, I went to college, got my Associates in Kinesiology, and now I'm serving the Lord; giving up time from school, work, family, and the beach for the most rewarding work in this life. I can't do it all without the support of my family and my Father in Heaven. In 18 months I'll be home to continue the rest...

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon.. as a child, I grew up going to many different churches with completely different belief systems. Just confusion. It was very recent when I truly converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was baptized at 9 years old with all 4 of my siblings. A little while after, my mom, siblings and I became inactive for years. After high school and through college, missionaries came to our home to help us come back to church/the gospel. Because of the love and persistence of the missionaries and the influence of our extended member family, my mom eventually worked towards getting endowed in the temple. I would never forget the feelings I had that day. Seeing and feeling the peace coming from her as she walked out of the Temple doors (like really.. it shined through her), I couldn't describe the feelings of love and surety from the Spirit telling me that this is what God wants: our happiness as families. It changed my life, blessings have been poured and I have been strengthened in the gospel and in my testimony of Jesus Christ and His atonement. I've come to know the truths of His gospel through sincere prayer and study of the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. With that, I know that if Joseph Smith was given the power to translate this book, then he was truly a prophet of God and that the fullness of Christ's gospel and priesthood power has been restored on this earth once again. We have a living prophet who does lead us in these latter days. It is real! I love this gospel, my Father in Heaven, and my Savior for loving and blessing my family and me so much! I want to share that with EVERYONE! That my friend, is why I am a Mormon. A Latter Day Saint.

How I live my faith

Loving as the Savior loves. I've been blessed with this gospel and I hope to bless others with it and with my testimony as I serve the Lord and His children in the Texas Fort Worth Mission.
