Hi I'm Brooke

I grew up in Arizona. I'm a future sister missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The summer after high school, I went to volunteer in Mozambique, Africa. That was the best summer of my life. I've never felt so much love for people I didn't know. I knew at that point that I wanted to continue to serve people for the rest of my life. It makes me so happy. I am currently preparing for my mission to the state of Washington. And I couldn't be happier. No it isn't Africa, but I am still so excited to share the gospel with people around me. I will do my best to show the people in Washington that god truly does love them.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church. It helps me every single day. My parents are divorced and it was one of the hardest things I've had to go through. Being only ten years old when they separated, I was confused and felt like I ha no one. My dad was very sad at this time and didn't want to talk about it. I was baptized when I was right years old, but I didn't understand the church until my parents split. I know that god loves me. And I know that he has a plan for each of us. He wants us to come to him for anything and everything. That's what I learned that I needed to do in order to be happy despite all that was going on in my family. This gospel is amazing and can help you through your hardest times and be there with you through your happiest times.

How I live my faith

I don't have a calling at this point in my life. But I have had many in the past. In young women's I was called as counselors and other things. Growing up I have always been taught to do your part. To fulfill your duty. So even without a calling in my ward, I try and reach out to others. I love little kids. So people usually find me by the nursery or by the primary room.
