Hi I'm Chelsea Bastian

I'm a strong dancer and I hope that through dance I may change the lives of others. I love helping others. I am a Happy Mormon.

About Me

I am an strong and graceful dancer and hope that through my dancing I can change the lives of others. I started dancing when I was three and have never had the though cross my mind to stop. It is my passion! I am a volunteer teacher assistant for a dance class. It's called the I.C.A.N.D.O. program and it teaches children from fifth grade to ninth grade that they can do anything they set their mind to. I love them with all my heart. We meet every Saturday morning for two hours. I am working on becoming an actual teacher. :) These kids are a huge blessing in my life, I don't know what I would do without them. I am the only girl in my family of four brothers. I am a tom-boy and able to get my hands dirty. I love easy, am understanding, and welcoming to everyone that I meet. I am not one that likes to dress up, I like my sweats, basketball shorts, and loose tees. But when the time comes I know how to look like a fancy lady, but don't expect that too often. :) You will ALWAYS see me smiling. I am a very family oriented person. I would do anything for my family and for my future family to come. I will always love and serve my family in every way possible. They are everything I have. I am very friendly and love to talk to being. I love giving advice and listening to people when they just want someone to talk to. I love helping people. Service is a huge part of my life, I don't remember a time that I wasn't serving another person. I love who I am and I love the Lord. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because through this Gospel I am able to be with my family forever. I love my family, they are the center of my life and I know, without a doubt, that if we are sealed in the Temple by the authority of God, I can live with my entire family again, after death. I am a Mormon because it gives me hope for what is to come, instead of fearing what could be after death. I am a Mormon because I love the Lord and Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I will follow God anywhere. I trust in Him, I love Him, I know Him. God is my Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ is my Brother. I am a Mormon because I know this church is true. I feel true happiness in this Gospel. When I am surrounded with the people of this religion I have no worries. I know that the Lord will watch over me if I am willing to follow him. This Gospel is amazing and it is simply set out before us so that any man, woman, or child can understand the truths of the Words of God. There is no doubt in my mind that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every week. I am serving a full time mission for the Lord in Argentina Neuquen. I have the opportunity to learn the Spanish language so that I may communicate the Word of God in their native tongue. I am willing to do what the Lord asks me to, because I know through the Lord I can do anything and everything. I give myself a goal for the week, bettering myself in one aspect or another and the whole week I challenge myself to be better than I was the day before. I am learning more and more everyday of the blessings I have received in my lifetime and am excited to learn of how much more I can receive. I am constantly praying to the Lord, thanking him for all the blessings He has given me and asking for help when I need it. I love the Lord and I show my love by how I treat others. :) Throughout the community I try to keep an open mind and invite anyone that is willing, into my life. I make friends with everyone that I can. I love to listen about the different religions and learn how and why they do the practices they do in their church. Through learning about the other religions, I feel we can have a better appreciation for the children of the world and of the religion we belong to. I am always working on being a great example to the people around me. Through my words, actions, and deeds. I know the Lord is watching over me throughout the hours in my days. I know the Lord helps me in more ways than I can think of. I love the Lord so much!
