Hi I'm Enoch

I grew up in Colorado. I come from a large family. I like music, fun, and learning. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love music, gardening, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy being outdoors, and hiking, swimming, or playing other sports. I have so many interests, that I can't hardly name them all! I always like to take part in anything that is good fun or uplifting, and anything that strengthens my relationship with my family! I also gain energy and enthusiasm by being around good people. I served in the Philippines Angeles Mission, and am now attending college! I enjoy learning and serving other people.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members of this church, so I attended church with my family. I have had the good examples of my parents and many brothers and sisters to follow. From a very young age, I have felt the love of God in my life, and a desire to help others. I was baptized as a member of the church when I was eight years old, and my understanding of the teachings of Christ began to increase. As I was growing up, we would read from the Book of Mormon nearly every night as a family. This book has made more difference in my life than any other. By applying its principles in my life - the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ - I found peace and joy, and the bright hope of the future. As I lived these principles, I found that my resolve was strengthened, and I my conversion became deeper. The desire to live by these principles that I knew to be true increased in my life. I add my testimony to that of countless others, that I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true! I also know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that is was translated by the power of God. I've read it, and prayed about it, and I felt that it was true, not just once, but many times as I read it and pondered its messages. I know that Joseph Smith was truly a prophet of God. I know that God cares about his children here on earth, and that he sent his Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to atone for our sins. I also know that everyone can gain this same assurance, if they will sincerely ask God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, to know the truth. Living by these truths has made all the difference in my life, and has shown me that I can overcome my problems and mistakes, and improve myself by coming to Christ. I realize that I can become like Christ by following His gospel.

How I live my faith

I am just an ordinary member of the church, trying to follow the example that Jesus Christ set for us. I have gone to church all my life. It has such a tremendous influence on all that I do. Through the church, I have participated in service projects - through the Boy Scouting program, and have taught members about the gospel during church meetings or by visiting them at their homes. I served as a full-time missionary for the church in the Philippines, which means I spent two years trying to spread the gospel there, and I invited others to come unto Christ. For me, living my faith means improving myself in every way that I can, and working to serve others and add joy to their lives. I try to be optimistic and positive, and to look ahead with faith in Christ. My faith in Christ helps me want to be a true Christian in thought, word, and action. This faith also causes me to serve others and invite them to come unto Christ. I am very excited to invite others to follow Christ.
