Hi I'm Jenna

I love to sing, dance, and travel. I am a student, a dual-citizen, and a Mormon!

About Me

I love watching musicals, singing, dancing and basically anything that has to do with music. I love to travel, my favourite country is Finland where my mom was born and raised. I lived there for seven months after I graduated high school and fell in love with the country, the food, and the language! I grew up in Lacombe, Alberta where I was blessed to be surrounded by amazing friends, and blessed to be in a wonderful ward full of members who still feel like family!

Why I am a Mormon

Being raised in the Church people often wonder if I only go because its what my parents do. There comes a time in everyone's life that they have to gain a testimony of their own, and live the gospel because they know for themselves that it is true. Gaining a testimony of my own is why I am a Mormon. Throughout my life I have been able to recognize the blessings, peace, and joy that comes from living the gospel. I am a member because I know my Heavenly Father loves me, and has a plan for me. I know that as I do what is right, I will be blessed and directed to what I need to do. I know the Book of Mormon is true, and that we have prophets on the earth today. Because I know the church is true and happiness it brings to my life I choose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best person I can be, everyday. To do this I read my scriptures everyday and try to learn from the teachings and examples found in them. I find as I read my scriptures each day it puts me in the right frame of mind to make good decisions, and be intune with the spirit. I attend church each week, at church I have the opportunity to learn from teachers and peers about how to better apply gospel principles into my daily life. I also pray to my father in heaven to ask for guidance in what he would have me do in my life. I try to listen for the still small voice and follow the promptings of the spirit. I am so thankful for having the gospel in my life, and the joy and peace I feel from living the gospel.
