About Me

I was born and raised in the South as a Southern Baptist, leaving home after High school I join the Navy and was station in Japan for a couple of years and in California. My family moved back to New Hamsphire to be near my husband's family. In 2010 I lost my husband to cancer after 22 years of marriage. I am a full time student online and work full time. In my spare time I play with two of my grandchildren, knit, photography. Reading has always been a favorite past time as well as gardening and cooking. I am learned this past year how to ride a motorcycle not bad for someone my age. I enjoy learning new things and setting new goals for myself. One of my goal is to do a picture book for a teacher friend of mine and a cousin who is special needs of point of interest in New Hampshire. I also want to free lance my photos in the near future.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I a Mormon is because God answer prays. I asked for Him to show me the church I need to be in. The introduction to the Church was a blessing that came to me from above. I know that the Book of Mormon to be true because it is so interwine with the Bible. I found since joining the Church that questions I had when I was younger is answered. I have found a certain peace that my adult life did not have for a long time. I have always believe in family and becoming Mormon has increased that. The caring and loving examples that the Church family live by so awesome. All I can say is I am gratful that God sent His Son to us and that they answer my prays and show me away to my new family. am Thankful that Joseph Smith choose to ask God to show him the true church that we who follow may also be blessed with the true teaching of Gods Words. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church each week and by being the secertary for the women group in my ward. I read my scripture everyday and pray. I treat others the way I would want them to treat me. Settiing the example to the people who lives in my household my daughters and grandchildren by keeping my faith and turning to God for help. Having a positive outlook and helping others both within the church and outside the church.
