Hi I'm Tami

I grew up in S. Calif, but call NV home. I'm a returned missionary, quilter, mother, grandmother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a quilter and teacher by trade. I love to read, cook, spend time with my four children and their families. I love to travel and see new places and people. I graduated college after all my kids were in school. I ask lots of questions just to learn things.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member all of my life, but my testimony is my own. I grew up in a part-member family and learned to answer questions about my faith and beliefs often. There are many who think I should just turn my back on God and my Savior, Jesus Christ for some of the trials I've endured, but they don't understand how close I've grown to Them through those trials. When I did nothing else but be obedient to gospel principles, They showered me with blessings for that obedience. With choice comes accountability and I'd rather make a good choice than one that will distance me from the blessings promised from obedience.

How I live my faith

I'm currently the secretary of our women's organization and love working with the ladies at church. It also gives me an excuse to meet new people who visit. I love visitors, but wish they were new people who were staying.
