Hi I'm Thunder Ammon Frost

I live on the Big Island of Hawaii. I enjoy exercising and spending time with friends. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and moved to the Big Island of Hawaii when I was 10. I am currently preparing to serve a mission in San Pedro, Honduras. After my mission, I will be attending college. As of now, I am saving money laboring for a local masonry company. I enjoy spending time with friends, going to the beach, doing Crossfit, reading, eating, camping, and playing sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ has made sense to me from as early as I can remember. It has given me the knowledge to know where I come from, why I am here, and where I am going. Throughout my life, in the gospel, I have always been surrounded by supportive, and caring people. I have come to accept the fact that Heavenly Father answers our prayers. Maybe not always the way we would like, but the answer is for our good. I am a Mormon for the happiness it brings in my life. True happiness, not temporal. I have never had drugs, alcohol, or broken the Law of Chastity, but for some reason I am happy. Like holding the end of a kite string, God's commandments aren't there as rules to hold us down from flying away to freedom, but rather His commandments are there to hold us up and protect us, because when we let go of the string, sure the kite might fly up a bit with the wind, but soon after it(we) will come crashing down. Keeping the commandments of God has blessed me countless times throughout my life. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ truly live and they love us. They want us to be happy and return back to live with Them. I know that this Gospel of Jesus Christ is the same gospel Jesus established during his mortal ministry here on earth, and that He restored it in its fullness through the prophet Joseph Smith in the 1800's. I know that we have living prophets today that are truly called of God.I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. He suffered and ultimately died for the sins of everyone who ever lived and will live on this earth. His atonement makes it possible for us to be able to repent of our sins so we don't have to suffer as He did and so we can eventually live with Him again. This gospel means so much to me and I feel so blessed to have known the truth from the beginning. I am choosing to serve a mission because I feel that everyone in the world deserves to know of the truth and feel the joy I feel everyday.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith through my example in my everyday life. Although I am not perfect, I try to be kind to those around me, have clean language, give service, keep the commandments and the promises I have made with my Heavenly Father, and always give respect to women, girls, and children. I maintain my relationship with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and can always have the companionship of the Holy Ghost by attending church, having daily prayer and scripture study, and always remembering to keep the Sabbath Day Holy.
