Hi I'm Annie

I am a retired Junior High Math teacher. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have lived in both Utah and Colorado. I married and raised 6 wonderful children. They are all married to wonderful spouses. I am proud of them. They are all productive citizens. My first husband passed away after 34 years of marriage. The Lord promised me in a blessing that I would be alright and that he would direct my path if I would listen to him. He has directed me. I am now married again to an awesome man. He loves the Lord and is always serving others. I am so happy. My new husband and I are preparing to serve a mission for our church. I am so excited to do anything to spread the Lord's work in these latter days.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know that it is Christ's church hear on earth. I know that the truth and priesthood authority was restored by Jesus Christ throughh is prophet Joseph Smith. I also know that he directs his church through a prophet today. His church is built upon the same principles and organization that was with his church when he was upon the earth. I know the Bible to be the word of God and I also know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. The Lord offers each of us the opportunity to find out for ourselves if this is Christ's church. I have prayed and read and studied and I know it to be true. You also have the opportunity to find out. It takes effort, prayer and study.

How I live my faith

My greatest blessing have come due to service. I believe my greatest service has been to raise 6 wonderful children. I hope I have taught them by example the importance of service to others. Christmas time has been one of our families best chances for service. Sharing with others in need is so much fun. Noticing others that need all year long is also very important. Service in the church has been a very great blessing in my life. I have had the opportunity to teach the children and youth. On many occasions I have been able to teach the women and sometimes teach sunday school. These opportunities have strengthened me and my testimony of Jesus Christ. I still feel the overwhelming joy as I have been able to feel the spirit direct me in my teaching. I know that you do not teach without the spirit. When the spirit is with me, I feel this joy when I teach. Others also feel it and that is when learning takes place. What a blessing this is.

Are Mormons Christians?

A Christian is someone that beleives in Jesus Christ. As a mormon, I have been taught the teachings of Jesus Christ. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ. Anyone that thinks that mormons are not Christians, has no idea of what we believe. We believe that Christ directs this church through a prophet. Christ is the cornerstone of the mormon faith.
