Hi I'm Reynold

I grew up in Idaho Falls. I enjoy long runs in the rain. LEGO's are my joy. Music is my passion. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Being the middle child is both a blessing and a challenge. Hand-me downs are evident but mistakes can be avoided by following or choosing a different direction than the older or even younger sibling according to the outcome of a decision. I recieve inspiration through music and being in the outdoors. I've played the trumpet for around 6 years and have played and grown to love the piano at a young age. I love being active, whether it's running, swimming, or volleyball, or any activity that requires you to be on your feet. LEGO's are, and always will be, my favorite childhood memory. Even as I grow older, I still find joy in these simple objects. Collecting and painting miniature models has become a great pass time entertainment. There is great satisfaction in completing a piece and looking at the steps it took to get the final touches just right. I've been an active participant in the Boy Scouts of America program for many years and through the help of others have reached the rank of an Eagle Scout. I was a part of the Seminary council, and graduated from High School and Seminary.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the church all my life and have gained my own knowledge that this church is true. Through prayer and faith, I have asked God and have recieved an answer. I know that I have felt His love and I know that He wants all of His children to return to Him. I have read the Book of Mormon and know without a doubt that it is the word of God and that it is true. If I didn't have this Gospel in my life, I would be lost and would have no purpose in life. I would be wandering the globe in search of something that could give me happiness. This Gospel is my happiness. It is my joy. It is my life. Through this church, I've gained many friends whom I will love forever. I know that my family will live together forever and that we will return once more to our Father in Heaven. This Gospel brings families together and allows us to have joy in our lives. Through my decision to serve a mission, I want to help the people of Russia to gain a knowledge that their Heavenly Father loves them. I want to share the joy I have in my life with those who want joy in their life; for the people who are searching for the truth; searching for a better life.

How I live my faith

For a few months before I came on my mission, I served with my parents as a teacher for Primary children around the age of five and six. I went hometeaching with my dad to three families and would usually play the piano accompaniment for the music. For two years, I will serve a mission in Moscow Russia.
