Hi I'm Dustin Ward

Hello I am Dustin Ward. I've been called to serve a 2 yr. full time mission in the México Xalapa mission. I am excited!!

About Me

Hello, my name is Dustin Ward. I have been studying at the local college and I have nearly half of my associates degree in Applied Science. I have lived in the Stated of Nevada my whole life. I love sports and staying fit. My family has eight people in it, and I am the forth child. All of my older siblings have served missions as well as my dad. My dad was called to the Michigan, Lansing mission. My oldest sibling, Katie, was called to serve in the Molgolia, Ulaanbaatar mission. My other sister Krystal, was called to the Montana, Billings mission. My older brother DIllon was called to the Albuquerque, New Mexico Spanish speaking. And now I have been called to the México Xalapa mission Spanish speaking. I am excited to serve the Lord with all of my strength.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. In my early teen years I wondered why do I go to church every Sunday? Am I strong in the gospel and actually know that it is true? These questions began to make me wonder for myself. I read through the Book of Mormon and prayed about it to know whether or not it was true. I felt the spirit so strong, and it confirmed to me that indeed I was doing the right thing. Ever sense then, I have been more stronger in the gospel and have learned to actually enjoy learning more about the gospel principles. My testimony means a lot to me and I would never deny that the gospel is not true. I would like to barrow my testimony that I know that this is the only fully true church, and that it has been restored upon the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. I would like to also testify that Jesus Christ was indeed crucified upon the cross and that he paid the price for all of our sins. All that we have to do is act upon his atoning sacrifice by going through the repentance process. I know that repenting works, I have experienced myself. I would also like to let everyone know that Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father, and the Holy Ghost all love each and everyone of us. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

My father and I are companions in home teaching families within our Ward. I really enjoy seeing each of our individual families and making sure that they are fine. Also making sure if they need any assistance of any kind. It is very nice to become more familiar with other peoples families and being able to teach them.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Dustin Ward
Yes, we most certainly do. The bible is a holy book just as the Book of Mormon is. The Book of Mormon compliments the Bible in many ways. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jeses Christ. Show more Show less
