Hi I'm Nicole

I'm 21. I'm a nanny. I'm a musician. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm twenty-one years old, I've traveled the globe, and I love people. I love making people smile, and I love to smile myself. I am currently a full-time nanny for the cutest boys this side of the Mississippi, I play ukulele and piano and love to sing (albeit not fantastically), and am taking online courses to get a degree and further my education. Music and families are my passions, and I hope to pursue both of these things throughout my life. I love my own family, and I love my Savior, who has given this all to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my savior. This gospel has taught me so much about Him, and about His love for me. I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. I know it is the word of God. I have studied the scriptures and the account of Joseph Smith. I know he was a true prophet of God, called to restore His church onto the earth again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying for ways to strengthen it, strengthen myself, and become more of the woman God wants me to be. I pray for opportunities to serve and grow in my love for my fellow men, and act on the feelings I get that tell me where to go and what to do. I try to do what's right, and confess and forsake those things I know I have done wrong.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

I've been a Mormon my whole life, so I can't say I really know any other way. I know there are a lot of "rules", but these are really just guidelines I've learned to follow because they keep me happy. Sure I may be a bit more sheltered than the average 18 year old, but I also have a lot fewer serious trials in my life because of it. I've learned that these guidelines bring me happiness, as well as keep me safe from some serious dangers. It's always my choice to follow them or not, but I've found the closer I live to these "rules", the more peace I feel and the closer I feel to God. Show more Show less
