Hi I'm Randall

I am from Arizona. I love sports, the mountains, and my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After being born in California, I also lived with my family in Kentucky and Texas before we moved to Arizona 8 years ago. We moved to live by family. I have more than 60 first cousins, and live in the same city as almost all of them. I love sports. Mostly basketball and baseball, but I'll play anything. I have been called to serve a full time mission in the NY NY South Mission. I will be speaking Spanish. I am excited.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church. When you are younger, you go to church because your parents are taking you. As I got older, and was able to choose for myself and learn right from wrong, I started to realize I valued it for myself. My testimony was growing. In high school, I took classes where I learned more about the scriptures and doctrines of the church. I had the opportunity to share the gospel with people around me and one friend ended up getting baptized. All of those experiences, along with reading the Book of Mormon, praying and performing my duties in the church helped strengthen my testimony even more. I know Christ lives, that He Atoned for my sins and makes it possible for me to have eternal life and live with my Heavenly Father. The reason I'm going on a mission is because I know that the doctrines of the church are true. I want the people of New York to know those same things.

How I live my faith

Currently, I help lead the group of boys in my ward that are my age...16-18. I also check on several families every month, helping them and sharing a gospel message. I look for opportunities to share the gospel and help others, which I am looking forward to doing full time on my mission.
