Hi I'm Jenna

I'm a fan of random adventures. I'm a college student, a twin, oh yeah and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First things first, I love random facts about people so here's a couple about myself. I love running but hate to go by myself so I tend to never go at all. I'm obsessed with reading random peoples blogs. My two best friends are my sisters, and yes one of them is my twin..we look a lot alike according to some people but at the same time others say we look nothing alike. Depending on the day I'd say we look alike. My one crazy dream is to move to Africa and open up an orphanage to take care of tons of kids...or create an awesome new public transportation business in Baton Rouge...neither of those will probably ever happen but hey a girl can dream. I can listen to the same song for hours on end. I'm one of those crazy people that will go to the store in their pajamas. I might leave my Christmas lights up year round. I love pressing clothes. I would do anything to move back to Louisiana. And last of all I love going on adventures.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. It's as simple as that. I mean, yes there's more than just that, I've read and prayed about the Book of Mormon and know it's another book of scripture. And yes, it's the exact same church that Christ established while he was on the earth which was restored through a prophet in our day so that we can have those same blessings. There's lots of reasons why I'm a Mormon but ultimately it's because it makes me who I am. Dallin H. Oaks put it better than I can saying, "In contrast to the institutions of the world, which teach us to know something, the gospel of Jesus Christ challenges us to become something." I know it's true because its helped me become something. Out of everything I've learned I'd have to say the greatest thing is that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to everything. It doesn't matter if you're struggling financially, physically, spiritually, or whatever, the gospel will bless every aspect of your life. And that my friends is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

The Savior gave everyone the invitation to come follow Him, and that's exactly what I do to live my faith. I follow Him by reading the scriptures, praying to God everyday, going to church, and much more. It's those simple daily things that I can and continue to do. And by so doing those things I accept His invitation to come follow Christ. I know that when I do those things I literally get to step in His footsteps and do what He would do. Of course no one is perfect, and that's the amazing thing...God just asks us to try, so I try my best everyday! Pretty much everything always boils down to the classic WWJD question...or in other word, what would Jesus do?
