Hi I'm Kati

I love my family. They mean everything to me. I'm a missionary in the Adriatic South Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Kati. I was born in Salt Lake, Utah and grew up on this little farm in northern Utah consisting mostly of sheep, cows, horses, chickens and pigs. My childhood was full of hard work, wonderful memories with my family and a lot of laughing. From those experiences I learned a lot about what it means to work hard and about the gift of service. After graduating from high school, I attended Utah State University taking courses in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Aerospace. I am currently serving as a missionary in the Adriatic South Mission, which includes Albania, Macedonia, Kosovo, and Montenegro. I love the people here- they have stolen a piece of my heart! Ever since I can remember I have wanted to be a missionary, to serve the Lord, and now I have that opportunity. I encourage everyone who is considering serving a mission to go and give yourself and your time to the Lord. This has been the best thing I can do for my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? This is a question I ask myself frequently. There are the obvious reasons: my father was born into a family who attended church devotedly and my mother was baptized while in college after meeting my father and taking the discussions from the missionaries. But then there are the less obvious reasons why I am a Mormon. It's my love of reading and studying the standard works i.e. the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price. It's my love of serving others and feeling the joy it brings to give of myself to help others. The biggest reason I am a Mormon is because I love my Savior and the hope the restored gospel gives me. Words cannot describe the joy I feel through the cleansing power of the Atonement and I am so excited to share the joy of the Plan of Salvation with the people here in Albania.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? I live my faith by living each day like it is my last. I live my faith by being myself when I am around others and by doing my best to share my testimony about the Savior's gospel through both my words and my actions. I live my faith by serving those around me and by trying my best to emulate the perfect example of my Savior Jesus Christ. I live my faith by spending every day as a missionary, preaching the message of the Restored Gospel and the blessings and happiness it can bring into the lives of everyone.
