Hi I'm Kristy

I am a mom, a wife, a nurse. I grew up in Florida, USA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of 3 boys who are all grown now. I like gardening but am very much an amateur at it. I like cooking when it is for pleasure but not too keen on the daily grind of preparing meals. I went to college right out of high school but did not finish at that time due to getting married and starting a family. I went to nursing school in my 40's. I am now an RN on a Hospice unit. I enjoy sports, but my ol' body doesn't let me do what I would like to do anymore. I really enjoy trying to understand the way other people think and what makes them tick. My first marriage ended due to transgender issues. I am happily married to my second husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was Mormon. This was the beginning of my Mormon foundation. As I grew up, I have developed my own, personal testimony of the gospel and my Savior, Jesus Christ. I have seen high and low spiritual points in my life which have helped me to search and grow.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by my daily actions. I try to treat other people with respect and kindness. I enjoy teaching and learning. I have worked with the children ages 18 months to 12 years old in various ways, but mostly with music. I have worked in various assignments with the women's organization of the LDS church. I like to participate in service projects.
