Hi I'm Ashley

I grew up in Kansas. I'm studying Elementary Education. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello there, I'm Ashley! I grew up in the lovely state of Kansas where I lived with my mom, dad, brother, and our adorable dog. I joined the church on June 24, 2010. I started investigating the church May 2010 and was instantly mesmerized by what the boys with the name tags were saying. Learning about the church came very natural and I felt like I had known it my whole life. This sometimes happens to people when they're learning about the gospel here on Earth. It's because we knew the plan before we even came to Earth and we're just relearning it. Currently I'm attending BYU-I in pursue of an Elementary Education degree. I'm also contemplating a mission and deciding on what to do with my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I fully believe that this is the true church. I know that Heavenly Father sent us here to make relationships and learn the things of the world. When learning about the church in the my missionary discussions I had no doubt that this was the true church. You just know when something is right. I also prayed about it a ton and asked my Heavenly Father sincerely if it was true. If you're pondering whether these are true I want you to ask your Heavenly Father. Kneel down, ponder the scriptures, and have faith that he will answer you. I can guarantee he will and your life will change for the better.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example for others just as the Savior is for me. I follow Him because I know He cannot lead me astray despite the fact that sometimes I slip up and lose sight of Him. He is the ultimate example to me and if I can be a drop of what He is then I am good. I use faith everyday. Whether I'm outside, going somewhere, or just doing homework. I have faith that what I'm doing right now pertains to my future. For example I'm exercising faith that I'll be able to finish my homework despite the fact that I'm editing my mormon.org profile instead of working on it. Have faith everyday and don't worry about what's going to happen. If you're following the Savior and your Heavenly Father you can't go wrong.
