Hi I'm Lindsey Nicholes

I am an Early Elementary Education major. I have lived in Utah my whole life and I love it here. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read!! I can read hours upon hours. I love to travel anywhere in the tropics. So far my favorite has been the Caribbean! I love to play basketball, even though I may not be very good. I love the winter holidays. I love to go camping, hiking. I love to sit by the fire while camping and make s'mores. I love to be with my family. They are crazy but I got to love 'em.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon, that is a really good question. I am a Mormon because I know what my life would be like with out this Gospel in my life. I know this because of the examples that I have seen through out my life. I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, I can be forgiven of my every sin. Because of Him, we all can be forgiven of our sins. When Christ died for us, he broke the bonds of death. With the bonds broken we have the blessing of being with our families forever through the sealing covenant that takes place in the temples around the world. I know that Joseph Smith was and is a true prophet. I know that he saw God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that it was written for our day and age. I know that we can learn from the principles found there. I know that we have a living prophet today, Thomas S. Monson. I know that he leads and guides this church. I know that he receives revelation for the church. Being a Mormon has been a great blessing in my life. Through the teachings and principles that I am taught I know that I am never alone and there is always someone who understands. I know that I can be with my family forever. I know that I can be forgiven. I am Mormon. I know it. I love it. I live it.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. I live my faith by the way I act around other people. I live my faith by being an example. I never drink or get involved with drugs. I strive to be better in my callings. I am always striving to become more like Christ.
