Hi I'm Jared Welch

I say i grew up in Utah because its the longest place I've lived, I'm 18, I'm a big motorcycle enthusiast. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have many hobbies, and interests but to name a view, reading, watching movies, home renovation, clothing and fabrics, Photography, Hiking, and motorcycle riding, and just motorcycles in general. I grew up in an LDS family, and have very kind loving parents but divorced in my early teens, tough times they were, and inactive i was. So although i did grow up LDS i have my own conversion story, and it was through my love of motorcycles that i met a friend that helped me through many difficulties and trials. I recently graduated from High School. I am not yet a Father or Husband but I am very excited and look forward to that part of my life. I have recently in the progress of my mission, I am going to Cape Verde. I am so excited to serve the lord and help bring souls back to him.

Why I am a Mormon

Like I said before i was born in an LDS family and raised LDS, but have had very unique trials, but those trials have helped me grow to who i am today. Having my own agency though, i havent made the best choices in my life, ive been in some dark places in my life, like anyone and everyone ive had highs and lows in my life and i have recognized that when im feeling good and having those highs it is when i have immersed myself in the gospel, the scriptures, and have committed myself completely to his church. The reason i stay on the straight and narrow is because i know how those dark times can feel and i want to stay as far away from them as possible, but i dont want to be naive hard times will come, trials will cross my path, that's why i want to live worthily, so then when those hard times come i will have the lords help. that is why i am a mormon!

How I live my faith

Well being recently graduated from High School i started going to the Singles Ward, but before then at my Home ward, I served as a home teacher, with a great and kind companion. I was also a Secretary. Being a Youth in the church you have many opportunities to serve your fellow men, also being a youth you negative about service, but through the scriptures you can appreciate, and love it. A scripture that helped, and taught me about service is Mosiah 2:17, "I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." Doing service for others has grown my testimony tremendously. There is another Scripture id like to talk about from Helaman 5:12 it talks about building your foundation in Christ and when the devil will send forth his winds they will have no power over me. That is why i am going on a mission so that i may be able to build and strong testimony and a strong foundation, so that i wont fall when the devil tempts me in the future and now.
