Hi I'm Rachel

I am born and raised Canadian. I love the outdoors and I am a library technician. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up here in Alberta Canada, with four brothers, my mom and my dad. I'm right in the middle and love it. My greatest passion is learning. So long as I have something new to do or learn I am happy. I have a diploma in Information Management and Library Technology, and have worked in libraries. I have done storytimes and helped many people find the right book. For now though, I am taking a break from books and am serving a full time mission for the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon firstly, because I was brought up in the church. I was blessed to know that I have a loving Heavenly Father from a young age. As I have grown up I have accepted many challenges from church leaders, friends and family, to discover for myself if this is right. I have found that when I live the way the scriptures teach, and listen to the leaders of my church I am a far better friend, person, daughter, sister and so forth. I love the simplicity of the church and I have a testimony that it can help all people. I know that this gospel contains God's plan for us to be happy, now and forever, and I love it.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary! I get to share with everyone the good news about Christ and His Gospel. In the past I have volunteered in service projects, organized several activities for young adults, and played piano in church meetings. I try to be an example of Jesus Christ in whatever I do. I know that as I strive to become better that I can help others find purpose and light in their own lives.
