Hi I'm Kevin Muniz

I was born in Puerto Rico, lived there for 10 years! A half mix of Puertorican and Guatemalan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Puerto Rico, lived there till i was about ten or eleven then moved to Salt Lake City. My mom is from Guatemala and my dad is from Puertorico. I love snowboarding, golfing, swimming, playing videogames, watching movies and being with friends. I Just finished my first semester of college and am now getting ready to serve my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My Parents were converted when they were about 16 years old. The stories they have told me about how they found the church are truly amazing. I am so very grateful for their opportunity to come to know and be baptized of the church because many years later I was born into the church. Being born into the church has always made it easy to see that it was the right path. At eight years old i was baptized and recieved the holy ghost. Although I was baptized the work did not stop there. Like anyone I had to find out that the church was true for my self. It took time and lots of spiritual experiences to finally gain a testimony of what I know today, and to know for my self that everything i had been told since i was born was 100 percent true. The experiences that we come across to find out for our selves is what will really shape your testimony and allow all to feel that this is the true gospel. I know for my self today that all of the trials I have had and will continue to have will only be to test my faith and to ultimately remind me that I know this church is true and if I do what is asked of me the lord will take care of the rest.

How I live my faith

My family and i attend a spanish branch. Although it is very small compared to the rest of the wards we love it. The people are amazing and the spirit stays strong. I do not have a set calling but I am my dads hometeaching companion. One of the things i really like about the church is the help they bring to our community. The young men of the branch are always looking for ways to help their neighbors in anything they need around the house. I look forward to going to chuch on sundays and being with such loving people.
