Hi I'm Sharon

I was born and raised in Northern California. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of six and a grandmother of nineteen. I have always loved music and play the piano, although not very well anymore. I graduated from college and trained to be a teacher. I never taught school but had plenty of opportunities to teach with my children. I love to read, knit, crochet and sew. I enjoy quilting and making minky blankets. I love to be with family, and our grandchildren are a joy in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me in the Mormon faith, and I have continued to believe in the teachings of the Church. I never doubted the teachings. I am grateful for the Savior, and I am so grateful for His sacrifice in my behalf. I know that He died for each of us and took upon Himself the sins of the world.

How I live my faith

From a very early age,I have always wanted to do what was right. I did not grow up in a "Mormon" community, so most of the time I was different. I was lucky to have had some great friends, and I am grateful for their acceptance of me. Since marriage I have always been a visiting teacher and have formed some wonderful friendships that continue to be dear to me. Girl's Camp was an important part of my life both as a young girl and as an adult. One becomes close to the Lord when being out in the woods and enjoying the beauties of nature.
