Hi I'm Griffin

I love soccer. I play ukulele. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I enjoy participating in and watching all sports. My family has moved all over the country and hasn't settled anywhere for long. I love to play ukulele and sing. I even write my own songs and some poetry on occasion. I don't know what life has waiting for me to experience, but I believe in embracing whatever comes with faith and hope.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to know what it means to sing the song of redeeming love. I have felt the power of the Savior's atonement deeply and personally in my life. The reason I am a member of this faith is because I know, without a doubt, that this is the only path by which I can return to be with my Savior and Father in heaven again. I have seen the Lord's hand in my life, guide me from place to place, situation to situation. I have been pulled, prodded, led, and pushed into the experiences that have best blessed my life. My Lord knows me personally and perfectly and has known that I need this gospel in my life. I have come to know such great joy and wonder in His work, performing services in his name. Being able to go through the temple and participate in work therein, as well as using the priesthood power and authority which I have been given to act in the stead of my Heavenly Father, have opened my eyes to the truths that are eternal and extend beyond this mortal realm of understanding. I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me, a Savior, Jesus Christ, that performed the atonement so that I could return to my father and be cleansed from my shortcomings and know what it means to truly be perfected. I know that the Bible and the Book of Mormon stand as true witnesses of Christ and testify of His power, his grace, his love, and his miracles that he has performed and will continue to perform for all of us. I know we have a living prophet who guides us through revelation, and I know that through the Holy Ghost we can all receive personal revelation to guide us in our own lives. I have felt no greater love than through the gospel of Jesus Christ and His atonement. I have felt the Savior in my life, and I have come to know that this is the only Church with the fully restored gospel containing all of the truths that Jesus originally established during his ministry. I know this to be true, and I will never give it up. It has blessed my life more than I could ever make known.

How I live my faith

I am going on a mission so my life for these next two years will be purely dedicated to serving those I come into contact with, loving them, and bringing them into the fold. In all things I try to remember God and notice His hand in my life and how He has guided me. I try to love all those I know the way that God loves them. I have had many callings in the church, all of which have put me in leadership positions and taught me great lessons about serving others and fulfilling their needs. Through serving in this marvelous organization which we have, I have come to understand God's work in this life, as well as understanding my own purpose in this world: to use my experiences to better myself and bring others to the knowledge that I have.
